Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 25 minutes Cuisine Type: American Description: This Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce is not for the faint of heart! Made with the world's hottest pepper, it delivers an intense heat with a hint of sweetness. Perfect for wings, burgers, tacos, or any dish that needs a fiery kick! Ingredients: 4 Carolina Reaper peppers (handle with gloves) 2 Habanero peppers (optional, for extra depth) 1 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup water 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 small onion, chopped 1 tbsp honey (optional, for slight sweetness) 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp lime juice Instructions: Prepare the peppers: Wear gloves while handling the Carolina Reaper peppers. Remove stems and roughly chop them. Be cautious—these peppers are extremely hot! Sauté the ingredients: In a saucepan over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté garlic and onion until soft and fragrant (about 2-3 minutes). Cook the peppers: Add the Carolina Reaper and Habanero peppers to the pan. Stir for about 1-2 minutes. Add liquids: Pour in vinegar, water, lime juice, and honey (if using). Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes until everything softens. Blend the sauce: Transfer the mixture to a blender (let it cool slightly first). Blend until smooth. Add a little water if the sauce is too thick. Strain (optional): For a smoother consistency, strain the sauce using a fine mesh sieve. Store & enjoy: Pour the sauce into a sterilized bottle or jar. It will keep in the fridge for up to 2 months.
